Who we are

A foundation that builds things that help.

Fundația „Study and Development” is a Romanian non-profit foundation based in Iași. We work where education, technology and real needs meet.

We don't only talk about change. We develop platforms, training and tools that people and organisations can use today — and we make them accessible, often for free.

Our mission

“To transform education, technology and innovation into concrete tools that create opportunities for people, professionals and organisations — and to make them accessible to as many people as possible.”

Build.Share.Educate.Sustain.Reinvest.Grow the impact.

Our model

How we create impact

We are a non-profit: any surplus from our activities goes back into the mission, never to private profit.

  1. 01

    We identify

We identify educational, professional, technological and social needs, listening to the people who live them.

  2. 02

    We build

We develop educational programmes, digital platforms, tools and initiatives that answer those needs.

  3. 03

    We make them accessible

Whenever possible, tools and services are offered free of charge or at highly accessible conditions.

Free access first. Sustainability so it lasts.

We don't promise that everything will always be free. We promise that access comes first, and that whatever we earn goes back into the mission.

  1. 01Free accessPeople and organisations start using our tools with no economic barrier.
  2. 02Adoption & impactThe tools prove their value in real work.
  3. 03Sustainable contributionWhere it makes sense, a small contribution keeps them running.
  4. 04Reinvestment in the missionAny surplus supports the Foundation's non-profit purpose, never private profit.
  5. 05New projectsResources become new tools, courses and initiatives.

Testimonials

What people say about us

Opinions and experiences of people and professionals from Romania, Italy and other countries, published with their consent.

  • Turning innovation into real impact

What makes this initiative compelling is its practical approach to innovation. Education, digital platforms and professional tools are brought together with a clear objective: creating opportunities and measurable real-world impact.

    Emily Carter — United Kingdom
  • A modern approach to nonprofit development

This is a refreshing vision of what a modern foundation can become. Rather than limiting itself to traditional initiatives, it uses education and technology to develop solutions that professionals, organizations and communities can actually use.

    Daniel Wilson — United Kingdom
  • Education built for a changing world

Education is changing rapidly, and initiatives like this understand that learning must become more flexible, international and connected to technology. The combination of remote learning and practical digital tools is particularly promising.

    Sarah Mitchell — Ireland
  • Building today while investing in tomorrow

The strongest aspect of the Foundation's vision is that it combines immediate projects with long-term ambition. Supporting professionals and organizations today while developing new educational initiatives for the future creates a powerful model for sustainable impact.

    Michael Anderson — United States
  • Technology that smaller organizations can actually access

Digital transformation is often discussed as if every organization had a large technology budget. Studera's approach is different: provide useful tools with accessible conditions so that smaller organizations and professionals are not excluded from innovation.

    James Walker — United Kingdom
  • Learning new skills without financial barriers

Remote training gave me the flexibility to continue learning alongside my work. Making professional education available free of charge or at a very low cost can make a significant difference for people who would otherwise postpone their training.

    Sophie Martin — United Kingdom
